PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on May 8:

* Cody Allan Lancaster, 3405 25th St. Apt 48, Parkersburg, had a charge of misdemeanor violation of a protective order dismissed as the defendant was not served.

* Edward Ray Vandale, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic assault dismissed after the alleged victim failed to appear for trial and has told prosecutors she does not wish to proceed. Another charge of interfering with emergency communications was dismissed after the alleged victim failed to appear for trial and has told prosecutors she does not wish to proceed.

* Bobby Gene Swiger, 93 South 4th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $175.25.

* Dustin James Whytsell, 1326 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of misdemeanor violation of a protective order dismissed without prejudice.

* Gary Gale Cline, 1201 Grandview St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to brandishing a deadly weapon, fined $170.25 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He is also to have no contact with the alleged victims.

* Paul Anthony Welch, 4817 Crestview Circle, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of DUI, greater than .150, and released on $1,000 bond.

* Jason Lee Hart, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice from Athens County, Ohio, for charges of receiving stolen property, felony fourth-degree possessing criminal tools and felony fifth degree carrying a concealed weapon. A hearing will be held in Wood County Circuit Court to determine bail.

* Daniel A. Rohr, 607 Nicely Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (meth) and held on $1,500 bond.

* Hunter Michael Ferguson, 72 Paulhurst Court, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no MVI and having expired registration and released on $500 bond.

* Christopher Todd Smith, 2906 29th St., Apt. 2, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of having no insurance and released on $500 bond.

* Natashua Faye Robinson, 513 Myrtle St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of grand larceny and second-offense driving on a suspended license for DUI and held on $12,000 bond.

* Richard Thomas Shamblin, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and was released on $1,000 bond.

* Saebra Jacqueline Barclay-Greene, 712 Lily Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Ashley Lace Wilson, 1127 Farson St., Belpre, pleaded guilty to having expired registration and an expired operator’s license and fined $360.50.

* Desmond Michael Huff, 7790 Mountain Dr., Pennsboro, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $370.25.

* Ryan D. Carr, 178 Emmons Ave., Akron, Ohio, pleaded no contest to a stop sign violation and fined $180.25.

* John Tyler Blevins, 764 Goosneck Run Rd., Walker, pleaded no contest to speed limitations and fined $180.25.

* Haden Allen Walker, 79 Dempsy Ave. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to traffic-control signal legend and fined $175.25.

* Ruthanne Morgan Bush, 2612 10th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $195.25.

* Kathleen Elizabeth Lott, 140 Old US 50 Rd., Walker, pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25.

* Kathy Ann Waggoner, 709 8th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $190.25, She was ordered to pay a $53.28 civil penalty to the Dollar General on the Staunton Turnpike in Walker.
