Wolves Esports qualifies for the Six Jönköping Major — SiegeGG

An hour after Team BDS reached the Six Major, and four days after Wolves qualified for the 2023 Six Invitational, Wolves Esports have now also qualified for the Six Jönköping Major, becoming the ninth roster to do so.

This comes as Wolves beat last-placed TT9 Esports which puts them on 19 points with a current 6-0-1-1 record. This puts them four points clear of NAVI and Heroic in fifth and sixth place with just one game remaining, hence a top-four finish is confirmed.

This will therefore be the Wolves’ roster’s fourth Six Major in a row having finished Sweden and Charlotte in 9-12th place, and the Berlin Major in the quarter-finals.

They will now travel to Jönköping where they will meet BDS from Europe, TSM, Soniqs, SSG, and Mirage from NA, and CAG, SBXG, and Dire Wolves from APAC.

The final two European League teams which will attend will be between Rogue, MNM, NAVI, and Heroic with the former two rosters having the advantage going into the final playday.

As for Wolves, they still have a fight for first place on their hands as they’ll need a win versus NAVI next Monday to ensure they take Europe’s first seed and win their second EUL stage in a row. Previously no roster has ever won back-to-back EUL stages making this a notable accolade for Wolves to aim for.
