Nine people were inducted into the Upper Peninsula Sports Hall of Fame Saturday night at Island Resort & Casino in Harris. The 51st annual class includes: front row from left, Kevin McDonald (son of the late Don McDonald of Iron River), Katie (Hoy) Batten of Newberry, Lisa Twardzik of Calumet/DeTour; Ginger Polich of Ironwood, and Dave Cvengros of Wakefield, back row, Shaun McDonald (son of the late Don McDonald); Joe Casagranda of Crystal Falls, Chris Lett of Houghton, John Koskinen of Baraga and Mark Mattson (son of the late Jim Mattson of L’Anse). Also inducted was Jeff Blashill of Sault Ste. Msrie, who was unable to attend.
