Sarah A. “Sally” Ullrich, 82, of Warren, Pa., died Monday evening, Sept. 19, 2022, at Rouse Home, Youngsville, Pa., after a brief illness.
She was born June 3, 1940, in Warren, Pa., to the late Arthur L. and Dorothy Korb Ullrich.
She was a Warren area resident, most of her life. She had formerly lived in Corry and Bradford, Pa. Sally was a 1958 graduate of Warren High School and Edinboro College. She was employed as a laboratory supervisor at Warren State Hospital for many years. She had previously been employed with Bell Telephone as an operator.
Sally was an active member at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Warren Zonta Club and previously volunteered at St. Paul Lutheran Church. She also transported veterans to doctor’s appointments.
Sally is survived by her brother, Gerald Ullrich and wife, Jane; nieces: Melissa Stanko and Jennifer A. Gray all of Warren, Pa., Courtney Ullrich of Percival, Va., Megan Ullrich of Sterling, Va.; nephews: Michael Gray of Sheffield, Pa., Blaine Ullrich of W.Va., Brian Ullrich of Altoona, Pa., and Barry Ullrich of Washington, D.C.; several cousins also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Gray; a brother, Arthur Ullrich; a niece, Brenda Ullrich; and a nephew, Bruce Ullrich.
Friends will be received at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 306 Conewango Avenue, Warren, Pa., on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, from 10 until 11 a.m. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Lawrence Scofield, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
