After a successful showdown with the reigning Six Invitational champions, G2 Esports, FaZe Clan managed to secure their placement in the Upper Bracket semifinals. Despite enduring an initial maximum overtime setback on Kafe, the team from Brazil emerged victorious in the series. Their triumph on G2 Esports’ chosen battleground of Border (7-3) propelled them into the Upper Bracket semifinals, an accolade achieved following their win on Nighthaven Labs.
FaZe Clan’s standout performer of the game was Thiago “Handy” Ferreira, who achieved an impressive SiegeGG rating of 1.22. Acknowledgements also go to Lukas “soulz1” Schinke and Jaime “Cyber” Ramos for their powerful entry into the game, accumulating a combined entry balance of 18-3 (+15) against G2 Esports.
The next hurdle for FaZe Clan is a matchup against the Soniqs. Regardless of the outcome, the Brazilian squad take solace in the knowledge that they are guaranteed to play at least one more game in front of their local supporters.
