The “6 O’Clock Jump” was a “happening” at the Alpena County George N. Fletcher Public Library on Nov. 28. The community enjoyed the talents of Tom Ferguson, A.K.A. “Dr. Tom,” as he played and reminisced on the music and musicians of Count Basie. All donations were used to support the READ Adult Literacy Program and its mission to improve literacy in our community.
