A crowd of family and friends throw powdered colors into the air on Saturday afternoon at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center as part of the Color Festival Hawaii 2023, an annual FRIENDraiser for Imua Family Services. According to organizers, the traditional Color Festival, which is held in major cities across the globe each spring, is conducted to celebrate life, color, inclusion and diversity. The Maui event also featured live bands, DJs, food and the iconic display of colors.
