Bailey Nagasako homered and drove in three runs, and the Baldwin High School softball team defeated Kapolei 7-3 in six innings in the Division I fifth-place game of the DataHouse/HHSAA state tournament Friday at McKinley in Honolulu.

Nagasako hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning and drew a bases-loaded walk in the Bears’ four-run fifth. She and Makanani Sonognini each had two hits for Baldwin (14-2-1).

Bears pitcher Lauren Otsubo held the Hurricanes to four hits while striking out three and walking four.
