Alabama vs. Tennessee score: Live game updates, college football scores today, NCAA top 25 highlights

No. 3 Alabama faced its largest deficit since 2019 in the first half at No. 6 Tennessee, but the Crimson Tide roared back and took their first lead of the game in the third quarter of Saturday’s SEC on CBS showdown. Entering the fourth quarter, Alabama led 35-34 as it tried to extend its winning streak against the Volunteers to 16 in this battle of unbeaten rivals.

Tennessee led 28-10 in the second quarter as Bama struggled amid penalties and special teams miscues. But reigning Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young led Alabama on five straight scoring drives from there amid a triumphant return from the shoulder injury which forced him to miss last week’s win over Texas A&M. Jaylin Hyatt highlighted some early offensive fireworks for the Vols with two touchdown catches in the half, and he added a third touchdown grab in the third quarter. Tennessee’s 34 points already in this game are the most it has scored against Alabama in any contest since 2003.
