The PMGC 2023 Grand Finals culminated on December 10 after three adrenaline-pumping days involving 16 of the finest PUBG Mobile teams. IHC Esports from Mongolia emerged as the ultimate victors, amassing a whopping 142 points from 15 final round matches to secure the sizeable winning prize of $400K. Zyol, a member of their squad, was bestowed with the MVP title due to his outstanding gameplay.

Stalwart Esports, also from Mongolia, were a whisker away from the top spot and ended up in the second place with 138 points. This power-packed team scored a total of three Chicken Dinners – the highest recorded in the Finals. Even though they were strong contenders for the esteemed trophy until the very last match, they ultimately lost the rank by a narrow margin of just four points. Nevertheless, they bagged the $200K second prize.

Alpha7 Esports, the team hailing from Brazil experienced a downward trajectory in their final six matches of the PMGC 2023 Finals, resulting in a slide from the first to the third position in the tournament’s overall rankings. Despite earning 115 points in the first 12 matches, they could manage to score only 16 more on the concluding day.

Breakdown of PMGC 2023 Grand Finals Prize Money

Championship boasted a total prize fund of $3 million. The League Stage was allocated $1.58 million, whereas the Grand Finalists received prizes worth $1.42 million. In addition, each of the 16 participating teams also earned $15,000 as a participation fee. Below is a list of the prize money distribution for the finale:

The PMGC 2023 Finale saw 4Merical Vibes from Mongolia claim the fourth spot. Coming in at sixth and seventh positions were D’Xavier and Faze Clan, respectively. Teams Weibo, TEC, and STE secured the eighth, ninth, and tenth places.

Loops Esports, though they showed great potential in the League Stage, could not sustain the same level of performance in the PMGC Finals, winding up in twelfth place. The team, which hails from Brazil, didn’t quite live up to expectations in the grand PUBG Mobile tournament.

Persija Evos ranked thirteenth in the championship despite earning a Chicken Dinner. With prominent players like Zuxxy and Luxxy, the team’s overall performance was a bit disappointing. The Kazakhstan team Major Pride and the Indonesian team Morph could not manage the stress of the final round and eventually landed 14th and 16th on the overall ratings, respectively.
